Job summary

Avsar Global is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer for an offshore assignment with ADNOC exposure. You will lead safety initiatives, review HSE plans, and ensure compliance across construction activities, while fostering a proactive safety culture.

The role emphasizes PTW, SIMOPS, JSA, incident investigations and emergency response, coordinating with contractors and client HSE personnel to drive offshore safety performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Offshore ADNOC experience is mandatory.
• 8–13 years of relevant HSE experience in construction and offshore operations.
• Knowledge of PTW, SIMOPS, JSA, incident investigation and emergency response.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
• Strong communication, reporting and safety-leadership skills.
• Experience working with contractors, project teams and client HSE personnel.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design reviews from an HSE perspective.
• Identify HSE issues related to construction activities.
• Monitor Permit to Work, SIMOPS and Job Safety Analysis procedures.
• Conduct regular site checks and control hazards.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and identify root causes.
• Review contractor HSE plans and procedures.
• Support HSE awareness, training, inductions and audits.
