Job summary

NMDC Energy is seeking an experienced professional to oversee offshore construction activities in the UAE. You will coordinate with multiple departments, assist with material qualifications, and support weekly and monthly client reporting.

You will liaise with third-party agencies and marine warranty surveyors, contribute to safety plans, and drive quality through to completion, including variation orders and mobilization planning.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Engineering degree is required.
• Minimum 5 years of offshore construction experience.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Natural decision maker with good communication.
• Team player; willing to work onshore and offshore.
• Knowledge of personnel and equipment in offshore projects.
• Thorough understanding of offshore operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all departments for offshore scope of the project.
• Assist OCM with requirements and MRV material evaluation and expediting.
• Input for weekly/monthly reports and attend client meetings.
• Liaise with third-party agency on offshore execution issues.
• Coordinate with marine warranty surveyors on offshore activities.
• Attend weekly progress meetings (OOD/OCM).
• Ensure implementation of safety plan and HSEMS.
• Improve quality of the work and initiate variation orders/claims.
• Prepare mobilization plans and coordinate mobilization with OPE, barge supervision, and field engineers.
