Job summary

NMDC Group in Abu Dhabi invites applications for a senior marine operations role focused on vessel surveys, pre-vetting checks, and ensuring ADNOC compliance. You will lead post-survey follow-ups, investigate incidents, and verify vessel and crew certifications to maintain safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Master Mariner Class 1 (Unlimited) and a Chief Officer COC, with extensive ADNOC field experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in similar roles/industries, preferably with ADNOC Abu Dhabi.
• Strong knowledge of STCW, ISM, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, flag-state and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vessel condition/suitability and pre-vetting surveys and ensure compliance with client/ADNOC requirements.
• Follow up vessel preparations, close-out observations, and conduct on-hire spot checks.
• Investigate marine incidents/accidents and monitor corrective actions.
• Review marine personnel competency certificates/COCs and vessel class/statutory certificates.
• Review subcontractors' Marine Management Systems for safe and environmentally compliance.
