Job summary

Barge / Vessel Client Representative / Lead ADNOC OFFSHORE is required in Abu Dhabi to oversee offshore installation campaigns, serving as the project focal point for contractual matters and direct site communications with contractors and the operations team. Ideal candidate brings at least 15 years in offshore oil and gas with 10+ years in jackets, decks or related installations and holds a B.Sc.

in Mechanical Engineering; UAE driving license is desirable.

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least B.Sc. degree (Hon) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of offshore construction practices, marine/safety regulations, QA/QC, welding and coating, jacket/deck installation procedures, marine practices for anchor handling/barge movements.

Responsibilities

• Be the focal point of the Project and represent the Project Management Team for all contractual matters during offshore installation campaigns.
• Report to the designated Project Team Leader and be the focal point for site communications with contractors, TPA and Operations field personnel.
• Liaise closely with ADNOC Offshore Marine Representative on all Marine related activities in the project.
• Organize safety meetings, toolbox talks and safety drills with the contractor.
• Produce daily reports for the Project Leader highlighting progress, issues, and improvement recommendations.
• Sign Contractor's Daily Progress Reports and monitor compliance with HSE standards.
• Ensure that approved procedures and Project MOC changes are followed and obtain prior approvals when required.
