ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Marine Operations Superintendent to lead and supervise offshore rig and barge movements, ensuring safe, compliant execution across ADNOC Offshore concessions. You will coordinate tug and AHTS support, mooring operations, and weather assessments to maintain operational readiness.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in marine offshore ops, 4+ years in senior vessel roles, and ADNOC regulatory familiarity.

Qualifications

• 15 years of marine offshore operations experience, including tug master experience.
• At least 4 years of senior-level offshore vessel operations experience.
• Proven expertise in offshore towage, pilotage, and positioning of jack-up rigs and barges.
• Experience with mooring vessels, AHTS vessels, and offshore jack-up units.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC Offshore operational areas and regulatory requirements.
• Completion of ADNOC Offshore approved training scheme targeted to the role.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise jack-up rigs and barge movements.
• Coordinate marine offshore operations including diving vessels, mooring vessels, AHTS, tugboats, and rig movers.
• Communicate with drilling and maintenance teams regarding rig/barge move schedules.
• Prepare and submit documentation for jack-up moves, including location certificates.
• Monitor marine spread availability and coordinate with shipping for readiness.
• Supervise contracted vessels to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Raise alerts on conflicting schedules to minimize delays and risks.
• Liaise with weather services to assess conditions and outlook trends.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting on rig/barge moves.
• Ensure achievement of SLAs and KPIs related to marine operations.
