Job Summary

The Office Engineer supports project execution by coordinating technical documentation, engineering submittals, drawings, and site communications. The role ensures smooth flow of information between site teams, consultants, and project management to maintain project quality, timeline, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain project drawings, technical submittals, and specifications
• Ensure all documents comply with project requirements and consultant standards
• Maintain updated records of revisions, approvals, and transmittals
• Coordinate between site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and project managers
• Track project progress and assist in resolving technical issues
• Support site team with engineering-related queries and clarifications
• Assist in preparing material take-offs (MTO) and quantity surveying tasks
• Support cost estimation and variation order documentation
• Monitor material submittals and procurement tracking
• Maintain logs for RFIs, submittals, and technical correspondence
• Prepare progress reports and project documentation updates
• Ensure proper filing systems (digital and hard copy) are maintained
• Ensure adherence to project quality standards and specifications
• Assist in preparing documentation for inspections and audits
• Support implementation of project quality procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 1–5 years of experience in construction or engineering projects
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
