Job summary

Galaxy Realty is seeking a qualified Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in site supervision, quality control, project coordination, and engineering documentation.

You will supervise site activities, monitor progress, review drawings and submittals, coordinate with various disciplines, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site activities and ensure work meets drawings, specs, and quality standards.
• Monitor construction progress and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct inspections and support quality control, addressing non-conformities.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, submittals, method statements, and other docs.
• Coordinate between architectural, structural, MEP disciplines to avoid conflicts.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and meeting minutes.

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in site supervision, quality control, project coordination, and engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise site activities and ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Monitor construction progress and coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Conduct inspections and support quality control activities, including identifying and resolving site-related issues and non-conformities.
• Review engineering drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate between architectural, structural, MEP, and other relevant disciplines to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth project execution.
• Support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting.
• Maintain a general understanding of contractual and commercial requirements, including variations, claims, quantities, and project costs.
• Assist in resolving technical, contractual, and coordination-related matters.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, meeting minutes, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction or project engineering.
• Proven experience in site supervision and quality control.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of contracts, commercial matters, project planning, engineering coordination, and shop drawing review.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision, in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.

Software Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software is an advantage
