Job summary

Voxtron in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join our ERP practice. You will analyze client requirements, configure ERP modules, and lead implementation projects from requirements to go-live.

Strong accounting knowledge and cross-module experience are essential. You will collaborate with business users, coordinate with technical teams, deliver training, and prepare functional specifications and user guides.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Odoo ERP Functional Consulting, Implementation, or Functional Business Analysis.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Sage, Oracle ERP are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze client business requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
• Lead and support ERP implementation projects from requirement gathering through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Configure ERP modules according to business requirements and industry-specific processes.
• Handle Accounting and Finance functional requirements, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, payments, bank reconciliation, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Understand accounting principles and map finance and accounting processes into ERP workflows.
• Configure and support ERP modules such as Accounting/Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, CRM, HR, Project, and other business applications.
• Conduct requirement gathering, business process analysis, gap analysis, and process mapping.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, user manuals, and implementation-related documents.
• Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, user training, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with technical/development teams for customizations, integrations, and resolution of functional requirements.
• Perform functional testing, integration testing, UAT, troubleshooting, and go-live activities.
• Provide functional support to clients and assist in resolving post-implementation issues.
• Advise clients on ERP best practices, process improvements, and effective utilization of ERP functionalities.
• Participate in presales activities, requirement analysis, solution demonstrations, and proposal preparation when required.
• Manage multiple client requirements and implementation activities while ensuring timely completion of assigned deliverables.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
