Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Senior Odoo Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end ERP implementations for clients in the UAE. You will gather requirements, configure Odoo, coordinate with developers for customizations, and ensure adoption.

The role also covers pre-sales demos and POC sessions, BRD/FRD documentation, UAT leadership, data migration, training, and post go-live support. Requires 5+ years ERP experience and 3–5 years Odoo functional consulting, with 4+ full Odoo implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or Accounting.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Odoo functional implementation experience.
• Minimum 4 completed full-cycle Odoo implementations.
• Deep functional knowledge of core Odoo modules: Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Project, CRM, and HR.
• Strong experience in business process analysis and gap analysis.
• Proven ability to produce BRDs, FRDs, and functional specifications.
• Experience planning and executing UAT.
• Ability to independently deliver product demos and POC sessions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements gathering workshops and produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)
• Map current business processes and translate them into optimized Odoo workflows
• Configure Odoo modules to align with client specifications and business logic
• Identify functional gaps and write clear technical specifications for the development team
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), resolve issues, and sign off on deliverables
• Manage data migration planning and execution
• Deliver end‑user training and produce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and user guides
• Manage project timelines, client expectations, and stakeholder communication throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Provide post‑go‑live hyper‑care support and resolve Level 2 / Level 3 functional issues
• Support the sales team by conducting product demos, scoping sessions, and Proof of Concept (POC) builds for prospects
• Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and contribute to commercial proposals
