Job summary

NADIA Recruitment & Management Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support day‑to‑day accounting operations in Abu Dhabi. The role requires hands‑on Odoo ERP experience, a solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations, and accurate financial record‑keeping to support month‑end closings.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Accounting/Finance, have 2–3 years of UAE‑based accounting experience, and possess strong Excel skills along with good communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably UAE.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo ERP.
• Understanding of UAE VAT regulations and FTA compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in Odoo ERP.
• Process sales and supplier invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Assist in AP and AR functions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and GL reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain VAT records and assist VAT returns.
• Verify invoices, expense claims, and supporting docs for accuracy.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue balances.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Support audits with required financial information.
