Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Dubai is seeking an Ocean Freight Supervisor (Transport) to coordinate transport plans, schedules and operations across our multi-modal network. You will coach a team, optimise shipments, and ensure safe, compliant handling of goods while delivering on time and cost targets.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and more than 2 years of experience in freight or logistics, with a focus on customer service, route planning and carrier management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• More than 2 years of experience in freight/logistics.
• Experience in Dubai/UAE market is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport plans and operations for ocean freight.
• Coach the team to meet schedules and targets.
• Execute transport activities including safe handling and warehouse tasks.
• Draft route plans and load schedules to maximise service levels.
• Monitor carrier performance and manage the carrier network.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
