Job summary

The Talents Pipeline is seeking a mid-level Occupational Therapist for our Dubai healthcare team. You will work onsite with patients to enhance functional independence and life quality, developing personalized plans across diverse populations and collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, and coaching patients and families. DHA license eligibility and a bachelor's degree are required; a master's degree is preferred for

• Document progress and prepare reports for insurers and providers.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home safety and adaptive techniques.

Job description

We're seeking a mid-level Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team in Dubai, where you'll work directly with patients to improve their functional independence and quality of life. You'll develop and implement personalized treatment plans across various patient populations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic clinical environment. This is an onsite role that makes a tangible difference in patients' daily lives through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities and limitations
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving activities of daily living, work capacity, and community participation
• Lead therapeutic sessions using evidence-based techniques, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications tailored to patient goals
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and adjust treatment strategies
• Document patient progress, maintain detailed clinical records, and prepare reports for insurance and healthcare providers
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, home safety modifications, and equipment use to support long-term recovery

Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapist license or professional eligibility letter from Dubai Health Authority (DHA) — required before start date
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (minimum); Master's degree preferred
• 3-7 years of clinical occupational therapy experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or community settings
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy assessment tools and treatment modalities
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
• Nice to have: Experience working with diverse populations or in multicultural healthcare settings
• Nice to have: Certification in specialized areas (hand therapy, neurorehabilitation, or pediatric OT)
