Job summary

Prospect Health in Dubai is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a leading hospital network. The role focuses on improving patient recovery, independence, and quality of life across inpatient, outpatient, and post-operative settings.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy, at least 10 years of hospital-based experience, and eligibility for DHA licensure. Relocation and comprehensive relocation support are offered along with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy is required.
• Minimum 10 years of hospital-based adult rehabilitation experience.
• Should be eligible to obtain DHA license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional, physical, and cognitive abilities.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for adult patients in inpatient, outpatient, and post-operative settings.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists for coordinated care.
• Assist in discharge planning and home-based follow-up rehabilitation.
• Document progress and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Mentor junior therapists and students to promote learning and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional, physical, and cognitive abilities.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans for adult patients in inpatient, outpatient, and post-operative settings.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), and overall function.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to deliver coordinated care.
• Assist in discharge planning and provide guidance for home-based care and follow-up rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and guide junior therapists and students, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
