Job summary

Top Notch Consultancy’s client, a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team. The role involves assessing, planning, and delivering therapy to clients with physical, cognitive, and developmental needs.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, maintain thorough documentation, and stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid license or registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with individuals with behavioral autism is highly desirable.
• Sensory Integration Certification preferable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and developmental abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to address functional limitations and promote independence.
• Collaborate with the medical director and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement integrated care plans.
• Prepare detailed assessment reports and provide regular updates to the medical director.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Stay updated with the latest research, advancements, and best practices in the field of occupational therapy.
