Job summary

GMG Gulf is seeking a qualified early-years educator to deliver balanced learning experiences in Dubai, using EYFS and British curriculum principles. The role focuses on safeguarding, confidence building, and developing essential early skills for children in a nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, with CACHE Level3 and two years of childcare experience; native English required, and UAE residency preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• CACHE Level3 qualification preferred.
• High school diploma accepted with CACHE Level3 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver learning activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Support children’s physical, emotional, social, communication and educational development.
• Encourage independent learning through creative play, exploration and guided activities.
• Maintain a safe, secure and stimulating nursery classroom.
• Supervise children closely and safeguard their health, welfare and security.
• Adapt activities to suit individual abilities, learning needs and developmental stages.
• Promote inclusion and positive interaction among all children.
• Observe children’s behaviour, participation, interests and progress.
• Record individual needs and achievements in the Learning and Development Profile Book.
• Contribute to developmental assessments and progress reports.
• Organise educational materials and classroom resources effectively.
• Communicate information about learning and wellbeing to parents and nursery leadership.
• Follow safeguarding, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, nursery managers and other professionals.
• Support nursery events and additional duties assigned by management.

The role supports children during a critical stage of educational and personal development, working within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and British National Curriculum principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver learning activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Support children’s physical, emotional, social, communication and educational development.

• Follow child protection procedures, hygiene requirements and health and safety standards.
• Work cooperatively with teaching assistants, nursery managers and other education professionals.
• Support nursery events, classroom preparation and additional duties assigned by management.

Ideal Profile

• University degree in Early Childhood Education, Education or a related field.
• Applicants are also considered if they hold a certified LevelIII vocational qualification in early childhood care and education.
• High school diploma accepted when combined with a recognised CACHE Level3 qualification.
• Applicants using the high school diploma route must have at least two years of childcare or early childhood education experience.
• Native‑level English proficiency is required.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and learning principles.
• Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework is preferred.
• Ability to design inclusive, creative and age‑appropriate learning activities.
• Good observation, assessment and developmental reporting skills.
• Patient, caring and responsible approach to working with young children.
• Strong classroom supervision and organisational abilities.
• Clear communication skills for working with children, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Currently residing in Dubai or planning to relocate.
• Flexibility to work at MotorCity, Mirdif, The Villa or Dubai SiliconOasis.
