Job summary

Mediclinic International is seeking an experienced senior nurse leader to guide the Emergency and Trauma team in Abu Dhabi. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and an outstanding patient experience.

You will drive evidence-based care, develop staff, and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards across trauma pathways. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing with trauma coordination experience and a Master’s degree or related field preferred; TNCC/ATCN

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Essential: Knowledge of trauma care pathways, emergency response protocols and multidisciplinary trauma team coordination.
• Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field.
• Desired: Trauma-related certification (e.g., TNCC, ATCN, or equivalent) and experience supporting trauma program development or quality improvement initiatives.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least 3-5 years’ senior-level accident & emergency nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital

Desired: Previous experience in a designated Trauma Centre or Emergency Department managing major trauma cases

Desired: 5-10 years senior-level experience in emergency nursing
