Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior Nursing Manager to lead the nursing team in delivering safe, high-quality emergency care and exceptional patient experience. You will drive operational efficiency, staff engagement, and adherence to clinical standards within a trauma-informed environment.

Essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Nursing, trauma-related certification (TNCC/ATCN), and 3–5 years of senior A&E experience, with 5–10 years in emergency nursing

Qualifications

• 3–5 years senior-level accident & emergency nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital
• 5–10 years senior-level experience in emergency nursing
• Previous trauma centre or emergency department management experience is desirable

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of clinical excellence, operational efficiency, patient experience and workforce engagement whilst ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality emergency care

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team


2. To ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards


3. To ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagement


4. To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient care


5. To monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Essential: Knowledge of trauma care pathways, emergency response protocols and multidisciplinary trauma team coordination

Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field

Desired: Trauma-related certification (e.g., TNCC, ATCN, or equivalent) and experience supporting trauma program development or quality improvement initiatives

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least 3-5 years’ senior-level accident & emergency nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital

Desired: Previous experience in a designated Trauma Centre or Emergency Department managing major trauma cases

Desired: 5-10 years senior-level experience in emergency nursing
