Job summary

SELECTED is partnering with a well-established business in Dubai to hire a Network Engineer for its IT team. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys owning a network end to end, from infrastructure and wireless through to firewalls and security.

You will design, implement and maintain secure networks, handle daily operations, and contribute to security policy and audit readiness in a fast-paced environment with Cisco, Meraki and Fortinet technologies.

Qualifications

• Must hold CCNA/CCNP and Fortinet NSE certifications.
• Experience with Cisco, FortiGate and Meraki technologies.
• Strong network security, VPN and firewall knowledge.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain network devices (Cisco/Meraki).
• Design and manage network security, ACLs, segmentation and NAC.
• Provide L1/L2 support for connectivity and performance issues.
• Monitor health and vulnerabilities using Site24x7.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate security incidents.
• Maintain network diagrams and security policies.
• Assist external audits with evidence and documentation.
• Work with ISPs on installations and maintenance.
