Zohorecruit in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network and security infrastructure. The role involves securing communications, data transfer, and threat protection across IT systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams to enforce security policies, monitor networks, and respond to incidents, with emphasis on Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, and cloud environments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• CCNA or equivalent certification; additional Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, AWS Security Specialty are a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or security roles.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and cloud networks.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark).
• Proficiency with load balancers and NAC (F5, Cisco ISE).

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN solutions with emphasis on security and performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Implement and manage VPNs, SD-WAN, and remote access technologies.
• Monitor network performance, ensuring uptime and minimal disruptions.
• Develop and enforce security policies; manage IDS/IPS and incident response.
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Maintain security logs and generate management reports; support audits and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to implement network and security solutions.
• Document network configurations, security measures, incident resolutions, and best practices.
