Job summary

Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company is seeking an experienced network security engineer to design, deploy and migrate security architectures in hybrid cloud environments across the UAE. You will implement NSX‑T overlays, VCD networking, AVI load balancing, and L2 extension technologies.

The role requires hands‑on experience with NGFWs (Fortinet, Palo Alto), F5 BIG‑IP, VPNs and SSL inspection, plus OCI network security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years hands-on experience in network security implementation, deployment and migration.
• Experience with VMware NSX-T/NSX-4 (overlay networking, DFW, Gateway Firewall, micro-segmentation), VCD networking, AVI, and L2 extension technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure VMware NSX-T environments, including overlay networking and micro-segmentation.
• Deploy and configure VCD networking and L2 extension for workload mobility.
• Configure and manage AVI load balancer, NGFWs, VPNs, TLS/SSL offloading, and WAF policies.
• Migrate legacy security infrastructure to modern platforms with minimal disruption.
• Plan and execute end-to-end migration cutovers and runbooks with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and NIST during implementations.
