Job summary

DU in Dubai is seeking a senior network security engineer to deploy and manage VMware NSX-T environments, VCD networking, AVI load balancing, and L2 extension across sites. You will implement NGFW, IPS, and threat prevention, migrate legacy infrastructure, and ensure secure, compliant cloud deployments.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on security migration experience, deep Fortinet/Palo Alto firewall expertise, and OCI security services familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 4+ years in network security implementation, deployment and migration.
• Hands-on with NSX-T/NSX-4, VCD networking, AVI load balancer, and L2 extension techs.
• Certifications: VCP-NV, NSX NV/VCIX, CCNP Security, PCNSE, NSE 7 or higher, CSE, OCI Network Associate.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure VMware NSX-T, VCD networking, and L2 extension techs in production.
• Implement and tune NGFW, IPS, and threat prevention across environments.
• Manage AVI load balancer, gateway/firewall policies, and SSL termination.
• Migrate legacy security infra to modern platforms with minimal disruption.
• Configure OCI network security services (Security Lists, Network Firewall, Fast Connect).
• Perform design work (HLD/LLD) for NSX/VCD/NGFW deployments.
