Job summary

GWC Networks Private Limited in Dubai is seeking a Network Monitoring and Observability Engineer with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience to deploy, configure, and manage enterprise monitoring frameworks. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security across client networks and cloud environments.

You will work with leading tools like SolarWinds, ManageEngine, WhatsUp Gold, Nagios, and Datadog, performing dashboards, alerts, incident response, and SOP documentation to support

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in network management or observability engineering.
• Hands-on experience with at least two of the listed platforms (SolarWinds, ManageEngine, WhatsUp Gold, Nagios, Datadog).
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, BGP, OSPF) and monitoring protocols (Syslog, NetFlow, WMI, SNMP traps).

Responsibilities

• Platform Administration: Deploy, configure, and maintain core NMS and observability tools (SolarWinds, ManageEngine, WhatsUp Gold, Nagios, Datadog).
• Proactive Monitoring: Create dashboards, alerts, and thresholds for servers, devices, apps, and cloud services.
• Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Triage, investigate, and resolve network issues and outages.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize data collection and reduce alert fatigue across environments.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Document SOPs, topologies, and playbooks with engineering and support teams.
