Job summary

Leading Civil & Infrastructure Contractor in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Network Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of water and sewage networks. This full-time role requires extensive UAE experience, strong technical understanding of wet utilities, and coordination with project teams and authorities.

Immediate availability preferred and salary is AED 35,000–45,000 monthly, dependent on experience.

Qualifications

About the Company

Our client is an established infrastructure contractor specialising in water, sewage and associated civil infrastructure works across the UAE. Due to continued company growth, new projects and contract awards, they are looking to appoint an experienced Network Manager to oversee their water and sewage network operations and maintenance in Abu Dhabi.

Position Overview

This position involves overseeing the operation, maintenance, upgrade and rehabilitation of existing water and sewage networks and associated wet utilities infrastructure. Working across both the office and operational sites, you will provide technical and operational oversight of network activities, working closely with the company's established project management, site management and maintenance teams to ensure the reliability and effective operation of water and sewage networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Operations: Oversee the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of water and sewage networks and associated infrastructure.
• Technical Management: Provide technical guidance to site teams, ensuring network activities are carried out in accordance with engineering specifications and operational requirements.
• Maintenance & Performance: Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programmes, monitor network performance and coordinate the resolution of technical and operational issues.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with project managers, site managers, supervisors and maintenance teams to ensure effective coordination of network activities.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities and relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and operational requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Extensive experience in the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of water and sewage networks and associated wet utilities.
• Previous UAE experience within water and sewage infrastructure is essential.
• Proven experience in network operations and maintenance, either as an established Network Manager or an experienced Supervisor ready to progress.
• Strong technical understanding of water distribution networks, sewage collection systems and associated infrastructure.
• Previous experience working with municipalities and relevant authorities.
• Abu Dhabi-based candidates preferred, although candidates elsewhere in the UAE will be considered.
