Job summary

Confidential Company in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Network & IT Administrator Consultant to provide on-site IT infrastructure, network administration, system administration, and end-user support.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft Azure, network security, backup and recovery, and IT infrastructure support.

Qualifications

• Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot hardware software network and system-related issues
• Diagnose and resolve IT infrastructure problems
• Provide on-site support to end users

Responsibilities

• Install configure maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure
• Manage routers switches firewalls and VPNs
• Troubleshoot LAN WAN TCP IP DNS DHCP and network connectivity issues
• Monitor network performance and take corrective actions where required
• Administer Domain Controllers DNS and related infrastructure
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services
• Monitor Azure resources and infrastructure
• Support backup and recovery processes
• Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers
• Train users on IT systems policies and best practices

Job description

IT End-User Support

Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot hardware software network and system-related issues Diagnose and resolve IT infrastructure problems Provide on-site support to end users

Network Administration

Server System Administration

Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments Support server operating systems applications and configurations Administer Domain Controllers DNS and related infrastructure

Microsoft 365 Administration

Administer and support Microsoft 365 services Manage Exchange Active Directory DNS Domain Controller and SharePoint security Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and user access-related issues

Microsoft Azure

Administer and support Microsoft Azure services Monitor Azure resources and infrastructure Manage Azure storage and virtual networks Support Azure networking security identity management and governance

Security Infrastructure

Implement and manage network security measures Support firewalls antivirus solutions and intrusion detection systems Ensure infrastructure stability security and performance

Backup Disaster Recovery

Support and maintain backup and recovery processes Contribute to disaster recovery planning to ensure data availability and integrity

AV Conference Room Support

Manage and support conference room setups Troubleshoot video conferencing systems and other AV equipment

Vendor Documentation Management

Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations procedures and changes Train users on IT systems policies and best practices
