Job summary

CBRE Excellerate is seeking a Multi Civil Technician to perform multi-skilled civil maintenance across our managed facilities in the UAE. You will handle painting, flooring, carpentry, minor masonry and general building fabric work, ensuring safety and timely service delivery.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in civil maintenance or facilities management, with an ITI/trade certificate preferred and UAE building experience highly regarded.

Qualifications

ITI / Trade Certificate in Civil Maintenance, Carpentry, Painting or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil maintenance, facilities management or handyman services.
UAE commercial building / facilities maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out multi-skilled civil maintenance and handyman activities across CBRE Excellerate managed facilities.
Perform preventive, reactive and corrective maintenance including painting, flooring, carpentry, plastering and general building fabric upkeep.
Ensure quality workmanship, HSE compliance and timely service delivery.

1. About the position

The main purpose of this role is to carry out multi-skilled civil maintenance and handyman activities across CBRE Excellerate managed facilities. The Multi Civil Technician performs preventive, reactive and corrective maintenance covering painting, flooring, basic carpentry, minor masonry, ceiling and partition repairs, silicone/sealant works and general building fabric maintenance, ensuring quality workmanship, HSE compliance and timely service delivery.

2. Decision Making Authority

This position has the authority to:

Assess minor civil and handyman maintenance requirements.
Identify materials and tools required for assigned works.
Carry out minor repairs within approved scope and competency.
Identify additional defects and report corrective requirements.
Escalate specialist or major repair requirements.
Stop work where unsafe conditions or practices are identified.

3. Experience / Education

ITI / Trade Certificate in Civil Maintenance, Carpentry, Painting or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil maintenance, facilities management or handyman services.
UAE commercial building / facilities maintenance experience preferred.
Practical experience in painting, flooring and basic carpentry works.
