Job summary

CBRE Excellerate is seeking an Electrician to perform preventive and reactive electrical maintenance across managed facilities in the Middle East region. You will conduct PPM of SMDBs and DBs, insulation-resistance testing, fault finding, and assist in safe restoration of electrical services in line with HSE, PTW and electrical standards.

The role requires an ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and at least 3 years of hands-on experience with LV systems, megger testing, and

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SMDB and DB preventive maintenance.
• Experience in insulation-resistance testing (meggering).
• Facilities Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned electrical PPM and reactive maintenance within competency.
• Isolate electrical circuits/equipment and stop work when unsafe conditions are identified.
• Diagnose electrical failures and recommend corrective actions and replacement components.
• Perform electrical testing and verify safe operation before energization/handover.
• Escalate major electrical faults, protection issues and operational risks to the Technical Supervisor.

About the position

The main purpose of this role is to perform preventive and reactive electrical maintenance across CBRE Excellerate managed facilities. The Electrician carries out PPM of SMDBs and DBs, insulation-resistance testing (meggering), electrical fault finding and repairs, and supports safe restoration of electrical services in accordance with HSE, PTW and applicable electrical requirements.

This Position Has The Authority To

• Carry out assigned electrical PPM and reactive maintenance within competency and authorization.
• Isolate electrical circuits/equipment and stop work when unsafe conditions are identified.
• Diagnose electrical failures and recommend corrective actions and replacement components.
• Perform electrical testing and verify safe operation before energization/handover.
