The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, use assessment information to strengthen student progress, differentiate learning for varied needs, and contribute actively to the wider school community.
The position requires a strong commitment to children 's education and well-being together with an understanding of the culture and values of the UAE.
Take responsibility for the progress of students within the class. Use information about prior attainment to establish appropriate expectations and targets, monitor development, and provide constructive feedback. Meet assessment requirements and maintain records of student development using Target Tracker. Assessment findings should inform subsequent planning, classroom provision, and appropriate interventions. Communicate clearly with parents and carers about student progress and development through Parent Teacher Conferences, meetings, and established school processes.
The MOE Teacher will contribute to curriculum action groups and support planning, assessment, learning resources, and relevant special events. Participation in the wider life of the school is an important part of the position. This includes helping organize school events, outings, and extracurricular activities that may occasionally take place after school hours, as well as running a weekly extracurricular activity each term. The successful candidate will maintain effective communication with parents and carers regarding student achievement and well-being, using school systems such as CPOMS where appropriate. Ongoing professional development is also expected to support consistently high-quality teaching and effective delivery of professional responsibilities.
Candidates should demonstrate a calm, approachable, knowledgeable, and professional manner and be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. The position requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to communicate with parents in a diverse multicultural environment, prioritize workload, and manage multiple responsibilities. Applicants should also be IT literate and familiar with online technologies that support contemporary teaching and learning. Warmth, empathy, integrity, credibility, initiative, and a child-centred approach are important qualities for the role.
Al Muna Academy has maintained an Outstanding ADEK rating since 2015.
