Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver student-centred Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons.
  • Align lesson objectives with Ministry of Education curriculum standards and school expectations.
  • Teach Arabic A to native speakers and Arabic B to non-native learners.
  • Deliver Islamic A and Islamic B content with accuracy, sensitivity and cultural awareness.
  • Translate curriculum requirements into clear learning objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Use varied instructional strategies for mixed-ability classrooms.
  • Incorporate critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity into lesson delivery.
  • Adapt teaching methods according to students' language proficiency and academic readiness.
  • Support students with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Provide accessible instruction for English as an Additional Language learners.
  • Prepare differentiated learning resources, activities and assessment tasks.
  • Establish an inclusive classroom in which every learner can participate confidently.
  • Plan and administer formative and summative assessments.
  • Evaluate written work, oral performance, projects and classroom participation.
  • Analyse student achievement data to identify strengths and learning gaps.
