Azizi Developments seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and optimize modular POD systems for Dubai projects. You will craft production-ready mechanical designs, integrate HVAC and plumbing for prefabricated modules, and coordinate across MEP disciplines in a BIM-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of professional mechanical design experience.
• Strong experience in HVAC system design and plumbing layout.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for modular POD applications.
• Prepare HVAC and plumbing layouts for factory production and site installation.
• Develop detailed mechanical drawings, schematics, schedules, and technical specs.
• Coordinate mechanical design with architectural, structural, electrical and other MEP disciplines.
• Work with BIM teams to maintain fully coordinated multidisciplinary models.
• Identify clashes involving ductwork, pipework, equipment and structural elements.
• Resolve design conflicts before release for production.
• Review project criteria, specifications, and authority requirements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE codes and local standards.
• Consider factory assembly, transportation, installation, and final site connections.
• Coordinate with site teams on mechanisms and tolerances.
