Job summary

HandsOn Systems Ltd, a Malta-based technology and telematics company, is seeking Automotive Technicians for full-time relocation to Malta. Responsibilities include installing GPS devices and telematics equipment across various vehicles, diagnosing faults, and supporting testing and maintenance.

Ideal candidates hold relevant engineering diplomas, have 2+ years of hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, and possess strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Automotive Electronics or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Hands-on experience with automotive electrical/electronic systems.
• Experience with GPS, cameras or sensors is advantageous.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
• Valid driving licence.
• Clean police conduct certificate.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Malta.

Responsibilities

• Carry out technical installations on various types of vehicles.
• Install GPS tracking devices, sensors, cameras and other equipment.
• Install and configure automotive and telematics technologies.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical/electronic faults in vehicles.
• Support testing and maintenance of installed equipment.
• Keep management informed of technical issues.
• Continuously learn about new automotive technologies.
