Job summary

Reap HR Consultancy is seeking an Automotive Electric Technician for a garage in Al Ain. The role focuses on electrical systems in German cars, diagnosing faults, and repairing wiring, sensors and control modules. You will work with GPS/navigation systems and telematics, ensuring safety and reliability.

Requirements include 3-4 years in automotive electrical work, hands-on diagnostic skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced shop. Salary is AED 3,000 with accommodation and visa support.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in automotive electrical systems, preferably German vehicles.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and manuals.
• Knowledge of 12V/24V systems, CAN bus networks and power distribution.
• Experience with GPS systems integration and repair in modern vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in German-made vehicles using diagnostic tools.
• Repair and replace electrical components such as alternators, starters, wiring, sensors.
• Install and calibrate GPS navigation, infotainment and telematics modules.
• Maintain records of repairs and parts in the service management system.
• Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve issues efficiently.
