Job summary

Oil and Gas International in Sharjah, UAE, seeks a Metallurgical Engineer with 3–5 years of oilfield experience for an on-site role. You will provide metallurgical and materials engineering support across Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Development.

Qualifications

3–5 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, drilling, downhole tools, or oilfield equipment.
Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline.
AMPP/NACE certification or related training is an advantage.
Experience with downhole drilling tools, OCTG, or oilfield products is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, and AMPP/NACE standards and customer specs.
Develop and approve metallic material specifications and heat treatment, welding, coatings requirements.
Review vendor documentation, material certificates, and test results.
Conduct metallurgical failure investigations and root-cause analysis.
Lead or support technical evaluations, deviations, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
Support design reviews, material qualification, supplier audits, and knowledge transfer.
