Job summary

DAPIN, C.A. is seeking a Materials Engineer for our offices in the UAE to lead materials and metallurgy specifications for project equipment.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in petrochemical/oil & gas materials engineering, with EPC project experience and the ability to engage with suppliers to secure optimal terms. You will review manufacturing procedures, thickness calculations, and material testing, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable solutions and drive

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in materials engineering for the petrochemical, oil, and gas industry.
Experience with EP/EPC projects.
Experience with lump-sum project proposals.
Ability to negotiate with suppliers or clients in pursuit of win-win agreements.
Ability to work independently, focused on achieving objectives.
Ability to work and coordinate within multidisciplinary teams to solve project issues.

Responsibilities

Define materials and metallurgy specifications for project equipment and materials.
Perform thickness calculations and review manufacturing procedures, treatments, and required testing, among others.
Review supplier procedures and documentation related to material specifications, manufacturing procedures, welding, treatments, tests, and inspections, among others.
