Job summary

Reliance Human Resources Consultancy invites senior risk managers to join a Dubai-based commodities hedging team. You will develop and execute hedging strategies for non-ferrous metals, focusing on compliance with risk mandates and governance.

You will monitor LME exposures using futures, swaps, options, and OTC derivatives, analyse contango and backwardation, and coordinate with treasury, sales, procurement to align cash flows and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in commodity hedging and risk management.
• Knowledge of LME quoted periods and pricing structures.
• Proficiency with IFRS 9 hedge accounting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute hedging strategies for non-ferrous metals.
• Monitor LME exposures and hedge using futures, swaps, and options.
• Analyse contango and backwardation and pricing structures.
• Support SAP CTRM integration and reporting.
• Prepare management reports on exposure and hedge effectiveness.
