Position Overview: Global Head of Metals Trading will lead metals trading operations across physical commodities and derivatives within a global commodities platform. This senior leadership role in Dubai, UAE oversees trading strategy, risk governance, business development, and regional growth initiatives across the metals value chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead physical and financial metals trading activities with disciplined execution and robust risk management controls
• Oversee derivatives trading strategies including hedging and exposure management
• Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives aligned with regional and global objectives
• Manage and mentor a specialist trading team, driving performance and accountability
• Identify new counterparties, structured trading opportunities, and supply chain partnerships
• Collaborate with risk, legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence
• Monitor counterparty exposure and implement effective credit and risk mitigation strategies
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term trading plans
