Job summary

StoneX Group in Dubai is seeking a motivated LME Assistant Trader to support a growing metals trading desk. You will work with experienced traders and brokers, providing timely market commentary, handling trade capture, and assisting with order management and client inquiries.

This role offers hands-on exposure to global metals markets, risk management, and daily trading activities, with opportunities to develop expertise in LME trading and analytics using tools like Python, VBA, SQL and Power

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Interest in leveraging AI tools, automation, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely market commentary and daily updates on LME metals markets.
• Support the trading desk with trade capture, order management, and position monitoring.
• Liaise with clients to assist with trade execution and account queries.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports, including market summaries and trading activity.
• Monitor market developments and macroeconomic events affecting metals markets.
• Collaborate with traders, brokers and operations to maintain accurate records.
