Job summary

Emirates Bustanica, part of Emirates Flight Catering, is seeking a Merchandiser in Dubai to optimise stock, displays, and sales. You will monitor performance, gather market feedback, and ensure timely deliveries and accurate documentation. A valid UAE driving license and car access are required.

Responsibilities include improving store layouts, analysing competitors, and executing promotional activities to grow revenue while maintaining asset care and compliance with company guidelines.

• Review competitor activity to inform pricing and promotional strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date invoices, LPOs, and delivery orders per guidelines.
• Apply merchandising strategy and promotions to improve sales results.
• Manage vehicle logs and ensure proper care of company vehicles.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales performance and identify losses or stock wastage and manage order processing and timely delivery communication with suppliers and distributors, to minimise revenue loss and ensure uninterrupted stock availability.
• Collect and consolidate market/customer feedback and report it to the immediate Manager in a timely manner, enabling informed and responsive sales decision-making.
• Arrange and manage stock display and rotation to optimise space utilisation, maximising product visibility and sales potential across all display areas.
• Assess the effectiveness of product displays and store layouts, driving continuous improvement in customer engagement and conversion at point of sale.
• Review competitor brand presence including pricing, in-store marketing, and promotional activity to inform competitive positioning and protect market share.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of merchandising trends and industry best practices, ensuring the organisation's merchandising approach remains competitive and current.
• Maintain and manage invoices, Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), and delivery orders in line with company guidelines and processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit-readiness across all transactions.
• Apply a proven track record in merchandising strategy and promotional activity to consistently deliver measurable improvements in sales results.
• Manage and maintain vehicle logs and ensure proper care and maintenance of company vehicles, minimising downtime and extending asset lifespan.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

• High School Diploma + Relevant experience in merchandising (B2B food or retail).

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in UAE as Merchandiser (retail).
• Must hold a valid UAE driving license and have access to a car.
• Experience in Fruit & vegetable category will be added advantage.
