Kanoo Group LLC is seeking a proactive MEP/building maintenance technician in Dubai to service and repair HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing and general building tasks. You will assist senior technicians, follow safety procedures, and ensure timely completion of assigned maintenance jobs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AC units and building chillers, plus strong attention to detail and reliable work habits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in MEP or building maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems (AC units and building chillers).
• Carpentry, electrical, plumbing and general building maintenance skills.
• Secondary school certificate is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to complete tasks on time.
• Proactive, hardworking and able to work independently.
• Friendly with good interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair AC units and building chillers.
• Electrical maintenance: lighting, switches, sockets, replace faulty components.
• Handle minor plumbing repairs, leakages, drainage blockages, fixtures replacement.
• Carry out general handyman duties: carpentry, painting, minor civil repairs.
• Assist senior technicians with installation, inspection, preventive maintenance.
• Follow health and safety procedures and ensure proper maintenance of tools/equipment.
• Complete assigned maintenance tasks within timelines and report status.

Description du poste

• Maintain, service, troubleshoot, and carry out basic repairs on various AC units and building chiller systems.

• Perform basic electrical maintenance, including lighting, switches, sockets, and replacement of faulty components within authorized competency.

• Handle minor plumbing repairs, water leakages, drainage blockages, and sanitary fixture replacements.

• Carry out general handyman duties, including carpentry, painting, minor civil repairs, and other building maintenance tasks.

• Assist senior technicians with installation, inspection, servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance of building systems.

• Follow health and safety procedures and ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment.

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks within the required timelines and report completed jobs and pending issues to the supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar MEP or building maintenance role.

• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, including AC units and building chillers.

• Proven carpentry skills and practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.

• Secondary school certificate is an advantage.

• Good English communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete assigned tasks on time.

• Proactive, hardworking, and capable of working independently.

• Friendly personality with good interpersonal skills.
