Job summary

Arada is seeking an experienced MEP Manager for the Special Projects department to oversee end-to-end MEP design, procurement and site execution for high-end developments in the UAE. You will bridge concept to handover, ensuring compliant, high-quality installations across multiple projects.

The role requires 8-10 years in MEP, strong knowledge of UAE codes and authority processes, and a proven ability to lead fast-track fit-out initiatives with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 8-10 years of experience in MEP management, with focus on fast-track fit-out projects (F&B outlets, boutique fitness clubs, luxury retail)
• Deep familiarity with UAE building codes and utility authority requirements (DEWA/SEWA/FEWA)
• Proven track record of managing MEP elements for high-end commercial and hospitality portfolios

Responsibilities

• Pre-Construction & Design Management: Evaluate MEP requirements during concept and feasibility stages to ensure technical viability and budget alignment.
• Schematic to IFC design reviews, identifying value engineering opportunities without compromising quality.
• Provide input on specifications for MEP equipment and materials for durability and efficiency.
• Tendering & Procurement: Lead the preparation of MEP tender packages with clear scopes and technical requirements.
• Perform rigorous technical and commercial bid evaluations.
• Develop tender recommendation reports for senior leadership.
• Authority Compliance & Liaison: Manage the technical approval process with UAE authorities (DEWA/SEWA/FEWA, Civil Defense).
• Ensure designs meet regulatory standards of Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates.
• Post-Award & Site Execution: Review and approve shop drawings and Material Submittals to align with design and timeline.
• Oversee QA/QC on-site and ensure safety compliance.
• Manage testing and commissioning (T&C) to ensure smooth handover to operations.
