Job summary

Green Line Electromechanical L.L.C. in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily MEP project operations across the UAE, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget compliance.

You will develop operational strategies, coordinate with Projects Manager, Engineers, Procurement, HR and other departments to drive efficiency, profitability and client satisfaction. Requires 10–15 years in construction, PMP/ MBA a plus, fluent English/Arabic.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in the construction industry.
• Minimum 5 years in an operations management role.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent project planning and execution skills.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction methodologies.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel between project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of multiple MEP projects across the UAE.
• Develop operational strategies to improve efficiency and achieve business objectives.
• Coordinate with Projects Manager, Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement, Accounts, HR and other departments.
• Monitor project progress and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Ensure effective allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Oversee execution of MEP works from mobilization to handover.
• Ensure projects are completed within budgets and schedules.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Review reports and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain relationships with Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
• Attend client meetings and provide operational support.
• Handle client concerns to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Monitor profitability and costs.
• Review budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
• Support commercial teams in claims, variations, and contractual matters.
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff and foster continuous improvement.
• Recruit and retain high-performing operational personnel.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely material and equipment delivery.
• Optimize resource utilization across projects.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and productivity.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for senior management.

The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all operational activities of the MEP contracting business. • Willingness to travel between project sites as required.
