Position Overview

MEP Maintenance Engineer in Dubai, UAE within the Facilities Services sector is a suitable opportunity for early‑career engineering professionals interested in building services, HVAC maintenance, site coordination and facility management operations. The role supports preventive maintenance, breakdown response, work order tracking, HOTO activities and technical documentation to help maintain reliable MEP services across assigned properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and execution of preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance for MEP systems.
• Support supervision of HVAC systems including DX units, FCUs and AHUs.
• Coordinate electrical, plumbing and fire protection maintenance activities under senior technical guidance.
• Follow up with technicians and subcontractors to ensure work orders are completed on time.
• Monitor service delivery against SLA and KPI requirements and escape delays when needed.
• Attend site inspections and assist in identifying defects, snags and maintenance requirements.
• Maintain PPM checklists, work orders, service reports and maintenance records accurately.
• Support HOTO activities, snag closure tracking and handover documentation.
• Assist with material requests, spare parts tracking, vendor follow‑ups and site coordination.
• Ensure maintenance activities follow HSE standards, client requirements and company procedures.
• Support client coordination, reporting and basic technical updates as required.
• Work with supervisors and engineers to improve response time, documentation quality and site service delivery.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in facility management, MEP maintenance or building services.
• Fresh candidates with relevant internship experience in FM or MEP maintenance may also be considered.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and building maintenance systems.
• Good coordination skills with the ability to follow up with technicians, vendors and subcontractors.
• Comfortable working under supervision while learning site maintenance processes.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, reporting tools and service documentation.
• Problem‑solving attitude with willingness to work in site conditions, shifts and emergency calls if required.
• Physically fit for site work and able to support inspections, coordination and maintenance follow‑ups.
