Job summary

J10 Consulting FZ LLE is seeking an experienced MEP Foreman for high-profile Dubai projects on an initial six-month contract with potential conversion to staff. The role requires leading daily site operations, coordinating with engineers and trades, and enforcing safety and quality standards on complex MEP installations.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least five years of building construction experience, including two in the UAE,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least five years in building construction, with two in UAE, in a foreman/supervisor role.
• Able to read drawings, understand productivity requirements, supervise MEP workers.
• Overseas MEP experience preferred.
• Familiar with installation works for different systems.
• Knowledge of applicable quality and safety requirements.

Job description

We are seeking experienced MEP Foremen to join our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client in Dubai for high‑profile new build projects. The position is an initial six‑month contract, with the possibility of conversion to staff after 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations, labor, and subcontractors.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Manager, and other trades.
• Manage resource allocation, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor progress and report daily work updates.
• Ensure site safety compliance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Resolve site‑related issues promptly to avoid work delays.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
• Assist in quality control and inspections with the QA/QC team.

MEP Foreman Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience in building construction projects, at least two in the UAE, in a supervisory capacity as foreman or chargehand.
• Knowledge of reading drawings, productivity requirements, and supervising MEP workers.
• Overseas experience in MEP works is preferred.
• Familiarity with installation works for the different systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of applicable quality requirements.
• Demonstrated understanding of applicable safety requirements.
