Job summary

Confidential Company in the UAE seeks an estimator with Mechanical/Electrical engineering background to lead MEP fit-out cost estimation. You will prepare preliminary, budget, and detailed estimates, and collaborate with procurement, site teams, and consultants to ensure accurate tender submissions.

Key requirements include minimum 4 years UAE experience and experience with Retail & F&B fit-out projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD for quantity take-offs is essential, with strong data gathering

Qualifications

• Experience in Retail & F&B Fit-out projects preferred.
• Ability to prepare budgets and detailed estimations for MEP fit-out works.

• Prepare preliminary, budget and detailed estimations for MEP fit-out projects.
• Gather data from site visits and pretender meetings to refine estimates.
• Send inquiries, analyze prices, and draft material and labor cost estimates and bids.
• Negotiate and finalize cost data, supporting settlements with data.

• 1 Preparation of Preliminary estimation Budget estimation Detailed estimation for MEP related to FITOUT projects
• 2 Participate effectively in pretender meetings site visits to gather all data and info
• 3 Sending enquiries and obtaining prices analyze prices prepare material and labor cost estimation and bid price
• 4 Conducting negotiations Identification of cost or pricing data submitted during the negotiations and relied upon in reaching a settlement
• 5 Should be skilled to work in AutoCAD for quantity take off
• 6 Preparation of List of Technical Queries for Consultant clarification
• 7 Prepare technical and commercial bid follow up until finalization
• 8 Quantification of Variations as per revised drawings specification
• 9 Provide and maintain all backup documentation required for substations of claims invoices
• 10 Dealing with Suppliers Subcontractors and Client Representatives
• 12 Segregating scopes and Sending inquiries
• 13 Finalization of tender with Chief estimator and Operation Manager
• 14 Preparation of material orders certifying payment of suppliers
• 15 Arrangement of the internal meeting with supplier sub-contractor
