Job summary

IRTH Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our MEP supervision team on construction projects. You will inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with DM, DCD, project specs, approved drawings, and applicable codes and standards.

You will coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure quality workmanship, timely inspections, and successful testing and commissioning of electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of UAE experience in electrical inspection and supervision.
• Mandatory experience on Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence regulated projects.
• Experience in hospitality, residential high-rise, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations including HV & LV systems.
• Review Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct inspections in a timely manner.
• Verify installations against approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements and authority requirements.
• Identify non-conforming works and issue observations/NCRs.
• Monitor material approvals, deliveries and installation quality.
• Maintain inspection records, daily reports and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and other disciplines to resolve site issues.
• Witness testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover activities.
• Support senior engineers in reviewing electrical submittals and technical documentation.

• Power Distribution Systems
• Lighting Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Emergency Lighting
• UPS & Generator Systems
• Low Current Systems (CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, PA Systems)
• Review Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct inspections in a timely manner.
