Job summary

Khatib & Alami in Dubai seeks an experienced Electrical Inspector to join the project supervision team. You will ensure electrical installations align with drawings, specs, and UAE standards, supporting high-quality building projects.

Key duties include reviewing drawings, performing site inspections, maintaining records, processing IRs, and ensuring safety and quality across residential, commercial, or hospitality developments. Dubai-based position with consultancy exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in electrical inspection.
• Mandatory experience with an engineering consultancy or supervision consultant.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering; Bachelor's Degree is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, contract requirements and safety procedures.
• Conduct site inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with requirements.
• Monitor construction activities through inspections, testing and verification.
• Review and process Inspection Requests (IRs) with project team input.
• Maintain daily records of site activities, resources and progress.
• Document inspection findings, progress, methods and material usage.
• Review delivered materials for conformance with project requirements.
• Perform inspections as assigned by RE or ARE and support follow-up actions.
• Carry out site measurements and assist quantity verification as needed.
• Support implementation of project quality management processes.
• Promote safe working practices and contribute to safety objectives.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain project records and documentation.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our project supervision team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality building projects by ensuring electrical installations are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and relevant UAE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and project safety procedures.
• Conduct site inspections of electrical installations to verify alignment with project requirements and relevant authority regulations.
• Monitor construction activities through regular inspections, testing, and verification of completed works.
• Review and process Inspection Requests (IRs) and assist with the evaluation of technical submissions in coordination with the project team.
• Maintain daily records of site activities, resources, and construction progress.
• Document inspection findings, work progress, construction methods, and material usage.
• Review delivered materials and confirm alignment with approved project requirements.
• Perform site inspections as assigned by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) and support follow-up actions.
• Carry out site measurements and assist with quantity verification as required.
• Support the implementation of project quality management processes and standards.
• Promote safe working practices and contribute to maintaining project safety objectives.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate project records and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements
