Job summary

Al Rostamani Group is seeking a skilled MEP Draughtsman in the UAE to prepare and modify technical drawings for HVAC, fire protection, lighting, and plumbing systems. You will use AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM and MicroStation to produce detailed designs and shop drawings, coordinating with design, estimation, site teams and client interfaces.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of MEP draughting experience with Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 5 years with Technical Certificates, preferably

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 3 years’ experience in MEP project drawing using CAD/BIM tools.
• Technical Certificate courses in Mechanical / Electrical / Drafting with minimum 5 years’ experience in MEP project drawing using CAD/BIM tools.
• Experience in UAE or GCC countries preferred, especially for residential, commercial towers and industrial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schedules for generation of drawings as per MEP project requirements.
• Review tender drawings and plan timelines for detailed and shop drawings.
• Manage drawing-related tasks to meet project targets and monitor progress.
• Prepare, modify and analyze Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Drainage drawings using AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM and MicroStation.
• Coordinate with Design Manager, Estimation Engineers, Site Engineers and Project Managers for inputs and reviews.
• Interface with Client drafting teams during project phases for clarifications.
• Collaborate with ESCO team to incorporate energy-saving measures in drawings.
