MEP Construction Lead for High-Rise Projects

Job summary

Azizi Group in Dubai is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to lead on-site coordination of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on our high-rise and infrastructure projects.

You will plan, supervise and hand over MEP systems, manage budgets and resources, coordinate with civil, architectural and QA/QC teams, and ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards for timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in MEP construction with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in high-rise buildings, commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards and authority regulations (ASHRAE, NFPA, BS, DEWA, ADDC, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage MEP works across all project phases.
• Coordinate with civil, architectural and structural teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
• Review MEP design drawings, IFC drawings, shop drawings and specifications.
• Lead the MEP site team, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of works.
• Monitor daily MEP site activities and progress against the approved schedule.
• Ensure proper installation, testing and commissioning of all MEP systems.
• Enforce compliance with project quality and safety standards.
• Review technical submittals, material approvals and method statements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and consultants for work approvals.
• Prepare as-built drawings and O&M documentation.
