Job summary

Azizi Development UAE is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee MEP execution for high-rise developments in Dubai. The role entails planning and supervising mechanical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and managing testing and commissioning activities. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 7 to 12 years of experience in MEP project execution, particularly in high-rise residential or commercial projects in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7 to 12 years of experience in MEP mechanical project execution.
• Proven experience handling high-rise residential or commercial projects in UAE.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Familiarity with UAE authority approvals and regulatory processes.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise mechanical works including HVAC systems, chilled water piping, plumbing networks, and firefighting installations.
• Review and approve shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements.
• Monitor site progress, manpower deployment, and productivity levels.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and other MEP disciplines to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with QA and QC standards, HSE policies, and local authority regulations.
• Manage testing and commissioning activities and oversee mechanical system handover.
• Track project costs, variations, and provide support to the commercial team.
• Prepare progress reports and participate in coordination meetings.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges to maintain project schedules.
