Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a qualified on-site supervisor to lead MEP and Civil teams on large-scale construction projects in Dubai. The role focuses on ensuring adherence to designs, specifications, and safety standards throughout all project stages.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with certifications such as PMP or LEED, and have 5–10 years of supervisory experience in Oil & Gas, Commercial, or Industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance and repair of MEP systems to meet project specs and safety regs.

• Coordinate on-site activities of MEP and Civil teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify defects and non-compliance and ensure quality standards and drawings are followed.

Job description

• Oversee and direct the installation, maintenance, and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Supervise Civil works, including structural elements, foundations, and site development, ensuring adherence to architectural and engineering designs.
• Manage and coordinate on-site activities of MEP and Civil teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and rectify potential issues, defects, or non-compliance with quality standards and project drawings.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field; relevant technical diplomas are also considered.
• Hold professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, or specific trade certifications relevant to MEP or Civil engineering.
• Demonstrate extensive experience, typically 5-10 years, in a supervisory role on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Have a proven track record in managing both MEP and Civil aspects of projects, ideally within the Oil & Gas, Commercial, or Industrial sectors.
