Job summary

DESIGNS AND DIMENSIONS INTERIOR DESIGNS L.L.C is seeking an experienced MEP Manager for premium commercial fit-out projects in Dubai. You will supervise and coordinate MEP activities across HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting networks, ensuring seamless integration with interior designs.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering, 5+ years in MEP management, and relevant certifications (LEED AP, PMP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years or more of experience in MEP management within construction or engineering sectors.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional eye for detail, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with interior designers and sub-contractors.
• Professional certifications such as LEED AP, PMP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale MEP projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution, coordination and commissioning of MEP systems for premium commercial fit-out projects.
• Should have cross-disciplinary supervision capability.
• Oversee and manage site installations for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting networks.
• Review, modify and coordinate MEP shop drawings to prevent clashes with ceilings, joinery and finishes.
• Lead the design and implementation of MEP systems ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineers to integrate MEP systems into building designs.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of MEP systems ensuring quality control and project timelines.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts and schedules to ensure financial and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Should have Cross-Disciplinary Supervision capability
• Oversee and manage site installations for all MEP services including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting networks
• Review, modify and coordinate MEP shop drawings to prevent clashes with gypsum ceilings, custom joinery and specialized finishes
• Lead the design and implementation of MEP systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Coordinate with architects and other engineers to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into building designs
• Oversee installation and commissioning of MEP systems ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts and schedules to ensure financial and operational efficiency
